네트워크 플레이어 등 디지털 전문 브랜드 루민이 T3X를 출시하면서 라인업 업그레이드를 단행하고 있다. T3X는 기존 루민의 베스트 셀러 중 하나인 T3의 업그레이드 모델로 기획한 모델. 종전 루민의 플래그십 라인에만 적용되던 기술을 다수 채용해 진화시키고 있는 모습이다. 일단 막강한 전원부에 ES9028PRO 듀얼 모노 설계, 그리고 광 SFP 대응 등이 주요 골자다.
우선 DAC 같은 경우 ES9028PRO 칩셋을 채널당 한 개씩 사용해 성능을 향상시켰다. 광 네트워크 단자를 마련해 네트워크에서 인입되는 노이즈를 최소화한 모습. 모든 입력된 디지털 신호에 대해 PCM의 경우 384kHz, DSD의 경우 DSD256으로 업샘플링이 가능하며 Leedh 프로세싱 기술로 완성한 디지털 볼륨은 기존 디지털 볼륨의 단점을 해소하고 있다. 프로세서는 최신 프로세서를 채용하고 있고 출력단 또한 루민의 X1에 적용했던 아날로그 버퍼단을 사용, 듀얼 모노 타입으로 설계한 모습이다.
네트워크 플레이어로서 기능은 막강하다. 일단 FLAC, WV, DSD, MQA 등 어떤 포맷도 자유자재로 처리 가능하며 타이달, 코부즈, 스포티파이 및 에어플레이, ROON에 대응한다. 최근 사용자가 많아진 스포티파이 커넥트, 타이달 커넥트도 모두 대응해 활용폭은 매우 넓다. 더불어 루민의 자체 리모트 앱을 지원하므로 별도의 앱 없이도 편리하고 안정적인 조작이 가능하다.
